Reading the list
Each handover identifies:- The mic.
- The outgoing and incoming wearer, or Mic table.
- The scene in which the handover is placed.
How timing is determined
StageMic places a handover:- In the receiving scene when assignments are consecutive.
- In the first unassigned scene after the outgoing wearer when there is a gap.
- At the explicit return or collection point when Mic table is used.
Reviewing the plan
Check the list against entrances, exits and the practical time available for each change. StageMic derives the list from the plot. It does not know whether someone is onstage, how long a costume change takes or where the crew will meet them. To change a detected handover, edit the allocations, actor links or scene structure that produce it. The swaps list is not a separate allocation plan.Marking a handover completed
The status control at the right of each row lets you change its completion state:- Clicking ○ marks a pending handover completed.
- Clicking ✓ marks a completed handover incomplete.
Resetting before a performance
Select Reset all completions and confirm to return the current show’s handovers to pending. Do this before each performance if you use completion tracking. Moving between scenes does not reset completion states. After editing the plot
Changes to a handover’s wearer, actor links or timing can create a new handover identity. Review completion tracking after substantial plot edits. Before the next performance, reset all completions so that the status reflects that performance. Completion records are stored on the controlling computer, separately from the.mic show file.
